'Britney’s OK! interview a huge disaster' Britney
Spears’ self-arranged interview and photo shoot with OK! Magazine
was reportedly a huge disaster.
The singer had earlier personally called the magazine to ask bosses
whether they would like to include an interview with her in their
new issue.
She apparently not only wanted to set the record straight about her
numerous problems including the feud with her mom, Lynne Spears, and
her divorce with her estranged husband, Kevin Federline, but also
her stint in rehab.
But the interview turned out to be a real disaster, thanks to
Britney’s antics.
Sources reveal that her behaviour was ‘nothing less than a
meltdown’, and that she was ‘completely out of it’ during the photo
shoot. As a result, the pictures have come out “so bad”, that
publishing them could actually ‘kill her career’.
As for what did Britney do that caused so much trouble? Well not
only did she take frequent bathroom breaks, each time returning with
a change of mood, but she also rolled her back in her head at one
point, causing her to look half dead.
She refused to let the professional stylists hired to touch her,
opting instead for her ‘skanky friends’ to do her hair and make-up.
The sources also reveal that Spears was also paranoid during the
entire interview, fearing at one point that the ceiling was about to
fall on her.
Then there’s also the problem of hygiene. Britney left some people
appalled when after eating some fried chicken that she’d ordered,
she wiped her hands on a several thousand dollar Gucci dress that
she was wearing for the shoot, staining it with grease.
She also cleaned up the mess one of her dogs made with a Chanel
dress. Bosses at the magazine are now wondering whether or not to
include the interview in the next issue.
On the other hand OK! Magazine Editor-in-Chief Sarah Ivens has
something completely different to say. She said the magazine had
“spent a heartbreaking day with Britney Spears and witnessed
first-hand an emotional cry for help that will leave you shocked and
sad. This week, on newsstands Friday, the truth will be told.”
OK! publicist Brian Strong said the magazine wouldn’t publish photos
of Spears from the shoot due to legal reasons.
